Saima Bakery began in Pune in 2018, born from a love of baking and the joy of creating something special for life’s celebrations.
From Passion to a Kinder Path
What started as a passion gradually became something more meaningful. Over the years, my own personal journey changed the way I thought about food, kindness and the choices we make every day.
A growing love and respect for animals led me to explore a different way of baking — one that could still bring all the joy, beauty and sweetness of a celebration without relying on animal-derived ingredients.
Today, Saima Bakery specialises in 100% vegan birthday and custom cakes, handcrafted for the moments that matter most.
For me, choosing plant-based baking has never been about giving something up. It is about discovering that we can celebrate fully, enjoy delicious cakes and desserts, and create beautiful memories while choosing a kinder path.
Every cake is still about the same thing that inspired Saima from the beginning: making someone’s special moment a little sweeter.
